  • DANGEROUS GRAINS: Why Gluten Cereal Grains May Be Hazardous to Your Health by James Braly, M.D. and Ron Hoggan, Ed.D.  This is a WOW eye-opening read!  Checkout the appendix for the list of over 200 symptoms and maladies connected to gluten. Hoggan is dedicated to spreading the word about the nasty and degenerative affects of gluten.
  • CELIAC DISEASE: A HIDDEN EPIDEMIC by Dr. Peter H. Green and Rory Jones gives a thorough overview of CD and explains how intimately the gut is connected to other organs and to major illness.  Excellent read!
  • THE GLUTEN CONNECTION: How Gluten Sensitivity May Be Sabotaging Your Health by Shari Lieberman, PhD, CNS, FACN is an eye-opening book that explains the negatives with blood testing; she gives great credence to the stool testing at EnteroLab and speaks of Dr. Vojdani’s extensive testing.   • GOING AGAINST THE GRAIN by Melissa Diane Smith, DIPL, NUTR, is another most informative book on the hazards of wheat and gluten consumption. She is a proponent of Dr. Fine’s stool testing.                               
  • WHEAT FREE, WORRY FREE by Danna Korn, a driven mom who has become an authority on Gluten Sensitivity, is very informational. I was impressed that her advisory were speakers at the NIH conference. She has also written: KIDS WITH CELIAC DISEASE and LIVING GLUTEN-FREE for DUMMIES.
  • THE GLUTEN-FREE BIBLE by Jax Peters Lowell; this is an indispensable book for those embarking on a GF diet and covers many aspects of living a GF lifestyle.
  • THE GLUTEN SYNDROME by Dr. Rodney Ford asserts that gluten may cause numerous disorders involving 10 organs in the body, not just the gut.  Checkout his website, www.doctorgluten.com, for more great information and easy to read books.
  • GET THE IRON EDGE by Ron Hoggan, Ed.D. explains iron deficiency, how it affects learning, memory and health, and the necessary tests and how to correct it naturally.

  • Unlocking the Mystery of Wheat and Gluten Intolerance by Dr. Thomas O’Bryan and Sueson Vess substantiates the devastating effects of gluten with some great research and is a "must see" DVD.
